Pt2: The Origins of Human Creation

THE ORIGIN OF HUMAN CREATION
Man is a creature given glory by  Allahﷻ. There are two elements that make up the human being, namely the spiritual element (spirit) and the physical element (body) and between these two elements, there is a specific form of relationship.

The existence of this special relationship makes the human being alive. When there is a divorce between the spirit and the body then death occurs. The combination of these two elements forms a perfect human being. Al-Quran has explained the combination of these two elements as it is explained in the words of Allahﷻ:

"وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ مِنْحَمَإٍ مَسْنُونٍ. فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ"

"Meaning: And (remember the event) when your Lord said to the angels "indeed I (Allah) want to create man from dry clay from thick soil that changes color and smell. So when I complete the event, and I blow upon it my spirit (creation) and they (the angels) bow down to it"."

Prophet Adam a.s. was the first human being created from soil. There are many verses in the Quran and also hadiths of Rasulullahﷺ that explain this fact. Since all human beings are descended from this prophet Adam, then of course the element of earthiness remains in every human body even though the initial formation of the next human offspring is from semen that occurs through the fertilization process. Rasulullahﷺ w has stated this fact as he said:

And Meaning: All humans are descendants of Adam and Adam comes from the earth.

While the human spirit is not known about the nature or origin of the incident. In principle, a person is forbidden to study the fact because of the inability of the human mind to know the nature of the spirit. Trying to find out and reveal the truth will cause confusion and confusion for human beings.

The spirit is the real human being while the body is just a place for the spirit. It is the soul that actually feels pleasure and misery, peace and restlessness, happiness and misfortune. A healthy spirit means happiness and peace for a person, while a sick spirit means misery and suffering for him.

Indeed, the spirit already recognized acknowledged, and witnessed the divinity of its creator before the body was created. Al-Quran has stated this fact where Allahﷻ has taken testimony by asking the spirit in the spirit realm (before the body was created) about His divinity and then the spirit answered with acknowledgment, confirmation, and testimony to the divinity of their creator. This question and answer can be seen in the words of Allahﷻ:

Meaning: And (remember, O Muhammad) when your Lord brought out the offspring of the children of Adam (generations) from their backs, and He (Allahﷻ) made them witnesses against themselves (as He asked with His words) "Did I not (Allahﷻ) your god (O spirits)”. They answered, "Even (You are our god), we witness (Your divinity)". So that you will not say on the Day of Resurrection that we have indeed forgotten all this.
